Fortunately, Dixie’s quirky neighbors—not to mention her bookie and her police detective drinking buddy—are willing to lend a hand. Especially helpful is Pinch, the ex-hitman who helps Dixie pull off a dangerous rescue mission, leaving several mobsters dead and a dilapidated apartment building in flames.
