Overview: J. Boyd Long is a self-embracing nerd who loves crunching numbers, researching interesting things, and listening to podcasts, in addition to reading loads of books. His exposure to Stephen King’s books at the age of 10 probably stunted him in some way, but he is still determined to leave the world a better place than he found it. He lives near Gainesville, Florida on a small farm with his incredible wife, 7 horses, 5 cats, 2 donkeys, 2 dogs, and a sheep named Gerald.

1. Genesis Dimension
When Quentin, an IT tech at a big oil company, discovers that his employer is hiding some big secrets, he decides to blow the whistle on them. However, when he and his best friend Eissa break into his boss’s office in the middle of the night, they find more than they bargained for. Way more.
In a secret room in the CEO’s office, they find a portal to another dimension. Facing certain death at the hands of the security guard pursuing them, they’re forced into an alternate reality. History has unfolded differently in this dimension, and they quickly find that their ignorance can get them killed.
Rescued by a stranger who seems to understand their situation, they find out that there are more than just two dimensions… there are hundreds. Maybe thousands. And Quentin’s company is intent on exploiting them all.
Quentin is no action hero, but he can’t turn away once he knows the truth. Outnumbered, outgunned, and outclassed, Quentin and Eissa charge into this David and Goliath fight determined to stop the corruption or die trying. Tensions run high in this dimension-hopping series opener, setting the stage for an epic showdown.
2. When Good Plans Go Bad
After a month of training on the island, Quentin and Eissa are ready to go to a new dimension and hone their skills. Their first stop is Dimension 214. It’s supposed to be a safe zone in the rain forests of Central America, but it’s anything but safe.
What starts out as a training mission with the Bribri tribe quickly escalates when part of the team is captured by DimCorp. Quentin is forced into a leadership role he’s not ready for, and the Bribri tribe is reluctant to help.
Avoiding direct confrontation is no longer an option. Strategy becomes king in this cat and mouse game, and Quentin must weigh the lives of his friends against the lives of the tribe.
Quentin believes that violence is never the answer, but in the ultimate test, he must choose between his convictions and killing to save his friends. Can he live with his choice?
