Overview: I write science fiction adventures in the style of classic sci-fi authors such as Isaac Asimov, Arthur C Clarke and Ray Bradbury – with robots – as well as comic fantasy which fans of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels will enjoy. I live in Hampshire, England.

Mike Kraus arrived on the fiction scene in 2012 with the surprise smash hit Final Dawn, an episodic post-apocalyptic series that sold over 250,000 copies. After a year of success he "retired" from writing for a few years to pursue other work (programming, web design and marketing) before returning to his true passion: writing.

1. The Drowned
When a geo-engineering project goes catastrophically wrong, one man will risk everything to rescue his daughter. Put in place to try and fix the the melting ice caps, the Exobot project was supposed to be our salvation. It became our destruction instead. In the space of a few hours, most of the world’s land masses – including over 95% of the United States – have been covered with water. Billions are dead, governments are in chaos, and the few survivors left are literally treading water, trying to find the few bits of dry land left. In the midst of the chaos, family ties, determination and the sheer will to live will be the only protection against the complete annihilation of mankind.

2. Phage
Survival is not guaranteed, as the survivors of the flood are quickly discovering while they try to make their way to each other – and to dry ground.
