Overview: A child goes missing every forty-one seconds. Per a study by the Polly Klaas Foundation, almost ninety percent of those missing children misunderstood directions, are lost, or have runaway. The instances where the child is abducted, nine times out of ten it’s by a family member or someone who the child knows. Only about one hundred children are abducted by stereotypical strangers every year, and only half of those one hundred children ever come home. Detective Chase Grant of the Seattle PD is working on changing that, and he’s about to be handed a case that will test everything he knows.
