Luc wants nothing more than to destroy the Knights Templar and their accomplices, the Order of Hell. Together, they murdered his family when he was still a teenager. In their latest crime against him, they also killed his mentor, assassin Auguste Fosse. His determination is beginning to take over his life, though. Obsessive seeking of the Templasr is driving a wedge between Luc and his boyfriend, Gilles. He’s seeing shadows of threat everywhere. Every waking thought, and even his dreams, is aimed toward his revenge.
So when someone begins leaving messages threatening Luc, he knows it has to be them. How are they getting into his room to leave them? Who is it who seems to have a personal hatred of him, specifically?
Revenge is close. He can taste it.
