When he develops an obsession for Elsa, his plan is all about taking her away from her husband.

Adam Jameson has kidnapped and drugged Elsa, and is driving her to a destination unknown to her. When she comes to, she devises a plan to escape, which comes off successfully. Now she and Charles must go on the run again. This time they fly off to the United States, with the children, Thomas, Stephen, Victor, and a new member of their extended “family”—Richard Grey.
Long presumed dead, Victor breaks the news to Elsa that her father is indeed alive, but in body only. His mind is locked. But when they flee to America and visit Elsa’s childhood home where she was raised by her uncle Henry, Richard’s mind begins to open up. There in his childhood home, he is able to warn the others of danger. But will he ever recognize his beloved daughter?
A final confrontation with Adam that involves Elsa’s friend Lisa being held hostage, and the beginning of a new life for the Grimm family in Texas will keep you turning page after page until the end of the story—which is really just the beginning of the next chapter in the saga of the life of Charles and Elsa Grimm.
