Overview: Dead Strain follows Brothers Jameson and Connor Myer as they navigate through a zombie-ridden landscape while trying to find safe refuge. Along the way, they meet up with other survivors who join them in their fight for survival. After contacting the military, the group discovers that the outbreak that has caused the dead to rise was the result of a failed attempt to find a cure for a new strain of flu and tasked with reaching the facility at the source. Once at the lab they find the lead scientist involved in the project and discover he has been working on more than a vaccine for the flu. Unknown to them, the government had contracted him to develop a super soldier, but when ordered to shut down the program, he ignores his orders and performs a test on one of his colleagues and the results are nothing short of horrific.
