Overview: Who murdered Chef Andre?
JJ Jamison, a successful Napa Valley chef, had her life turned upside-down when her husband unexpectedly filed for divorce. Added to this betrayal, he gave her until the divorce was final to move from his family’s winery, and her cherished cooking school. Seeking comfort, JJ accepted her mother’s invitation to join her for a week aboard the Serenity cruse ship where she now lived. JJ had hoped for solitude and a place to heal her wounds and maybe even explore her future.
Once onboard, however, her help is requested in finding a replacement chef for the teaching courses. Entering the galley the first week, there is no scent of baking bread, but rather a dead chef Andre. To make things even stranger, her mother seemed to possess secrets, and there was a talking cat, a cookbook writing ghost cat at that, who was determined to guide her through this bewildering mystery. JJ found herself tangled in a thrilling race against time alongside the ship’s handsome Security Officer. She turns in her spatula for a magnifying glass. Sparks fly as they race against time to determined to unmask the killer before the Feds arrive and take over at the next port.
