Overview: I write gothic romance reminiscent of the early authors of the genre, but my heroines have cell phones and Facebook–unless I’m writing historical gothics, of course. Then, no cell phones are allowed; instead, my heroines have to deal with uncomfortable gowns, opium loving heroes, family curses, and rutted roads. I’ve penned a couple of regular romances, but my characters usually want graveyards, murder, mouldering ancestral mansions, and isolated spaces.
