Overview: The plan was to take over the manufacturing and distribution of all drugs into the U.S. from it’s own Chinese sources therefore cutting out the Columbians, and the Venezuelan’s. Complicated? Very. Achievable? Less than fifty percent. But with the right kind of plan and the right people working the plan it could be done. That was the reason for Ralph’s visit to me. He wanted me to put together a team of my U.S. sources along with as many red pole foot soldiers I needed to pull off the plan. I don’t like being so close to the dirty end of the business but when Ralph offered me ten percent of the take, if successful, I couldn’t pass it up. I’m thinking a payday in the millions for a few days work. So I swallowed my fear and accepted the offer. For ten percent of everything pulled in, I needed to come up with a plan that would destroy the Russian mafia’s U.S. operation, close down Cuba’s trafficking and distribution network, and then close the Brighton Beach banking operation the Mafia controlled. Could I do it? Hell no. But, it was worth a shot. If successful I could close down the office and join my brother Bud in his fishing charter business in Oceanside. To have a chance of pulling this off I needed several people on my side. Bud, my brother, a good man in a close-in fight and totally fearless, Jack Sloane a modern day bounty hunter, good with his fists and a gun, Hop Fung, Roger Choi and a dozen red pole foot soldiers from Ralph Yee’s trusted men. The more I thought out the plan the more convinced I was that it could be done but it was still an iffy plan. I didn’t sleep that well that night. It was three in the morning that Ming, my live in alley cat woke me up with a paw to let her out for her morning alley cat business. I laid awake the rest of the night having second thoughts. By six I think I had a plan worked out that would succeed. Go for the distribution first and work out from there with an all out computer attack on the Russians inner workings. Cut off the body and the head would die… It was the Cuban’s first, then the others would fall into place.
