When Hal played the virtual-reality game Darknite, he was expecting a good time. You know, grabbing weapons… building defenses… and trying to kill the other 99 players in battle royale mode. Then something went wrong.
Now he has to enlist the help of other players (including one very hot girl) to figure a way out of the game. But there are others who oppose him – most notably a skull-faced opponent named Violator with a foul temper and an itchy trigger finger.
Violator is building an army, and he wants to win at all costs – even if it means Hal and his friends are trapped in Darknite forever. Play, die, repeat… just try not to die for real.
