Overview: The last four books in the Dark Days post-apocalyptic series. Kate Crawford’s world was shattered when the Collapse came. She plans on traveling across the state, back to her home town in the mountains, a place she vowed never to return to. After escaping the city, Kate rescues a small girl, and then meets Max and Petra. The four of them stay together, deciding to travel to Kate’s home town, a place she feels might be safe from both the rippers and the Dark Angels. But there are dangers waiting for them there, dangers they can’t even imagine.

Ray and the others he’s with work their way south, eventually crossing paths with Kate and the ones she’s with. They band together to make one last stand against the Dragon and his Dark Angels, but Ray still has plans to find a place called Avalon, an underground bunker run by the CDC, a place he believes may have a cure for the Ripper Plague, or at least the answers he was promised.
