Keir Clayton was brought up on a housing estate on the edge of Ipswich, England. Back then it was a natural playground of half-built houses, next to open fields, in the Suffolk countryside. At an early age he discovered that below those newly built houses lurked the remains of a Roman villa, which inspired his imagination to wonder about the people who had dwelt there so long ago. It would be many years, a lot of reading and plentiful research before he accomplished his dream of writing a novel set in Roman Britain.
Now retired, he found the time to become immersed in that latent ambition of writing a fictional story. Walking around what remains of the Roman town of Venta Icenorum, south of Norwich, Keir was inspired to write his first novel Wulfhelm’s Revenge.

01 Wulfhelm’s Revenge
Rome has fallen, and out of the chaos, Wulf, a former Roman scout, returns to Germania, but finds his home laid to waste by seafaring pirates.
Wulf discovers his father has been brutally murdered and his twin sister forced into slavery. In his quest to seek revenge, Wulf tracks the killers to the isle of Britannia. There he becomes caught in a rebellion led by Eira, a fierce young woman, and a descendant of the fabled warrior Queen Boudica.
Wulf must decide, should he hunt down his father’s killers or aid Eira against the tyrant, Avitus Ferreolus?
02 Wulfhelm’s Britannia
It is AD 412 the final years of Roman Britain. Wulf finds himself caught in the struggle for supremacy of the Provinces of Britannia.
After retrieving the sacred statue of his people and finding his twin sister, who had been taken into slavery, Wulf is almost free of the oath he made to his uncle.
Wulf must hunt down Osnath, the Frisian marauder who slaughtered his people, but first he needs to discover the whereabouts of Silvia, his lover, who has been abducted by the evil Gallus.
