Overview: My name is Jeremy Mathiesen, and I’ve wanted to create stories ever since I was a little kid. I was a terrible student. I was held back in elementary school, and suffered from crippling learning disabilities, but always the desire to create stories stuck with me. My teen years were not my favorite. I barely graduated high school, but I was a decent artist. When I was nineteen, I was accepted into animations school. A year later I was hired by Mainframe Entertainment animating cartoons like Reboot and Transformers. It was a lot of fun, but I still wasn’t doing what I felt I was meant to do. At the age of twenty-three, I had the idea for my Cyrus LongBones series. When I turned twenty-eight, with zero writing ability, and a history of bad English grades, I decided I was going to write my first book. I joined the West End Writers Group, and the Western Canadian Children’s Writers Group and I started writing every day, and I haven’t stopped since.

2. Cyrus LongBones and the Yeti Kingdom
Shipwrecked on a snowy, forested shore, hunted by klops and trolls, sixteen-year-old Cyrus LongBones has uncovered an ancient clue that may free his stranded village.
Delving within a crumbling, ice palace, Cyrus goes in search of the wise yeti, desperate for knowledge of a living island known as a hune. When Cyrus is taken prisoner in hostile territory, he discovers that an evil Queen has crushed the Yeti Kingdom and enslaved its people. Cyrus must find this Queen and captured yeti if he is to rescue the hune and save his village, but will Cyrus’ spirit endure the coming battle, or must he sell his soul to survive?
3. Cyrus LongBones and the Battle Hune
Escaping the wintery klops slave mines, sixteen-year-old Cyrus LongBones has discovered the hidden location of the living island that can save his village.
Forced to brave treacherous mountains and ravenous wolves, Cyrus uncovers a remote klops army that has imprisoned and armored the turtle-like island known as a hune. Cyrus must somehow infiltrate this enemy stronghold, free the giant Battle Hune and unite it with his stranded people, all while being hunted by the immortal Sea Zombie.
Enemies must now become allies, and friends may become foes. To rescue his village, can Cyrus walk the thin line between good and evil, or will hate guide his way?
