Overview: Drayve Maladoron, Allenastar Crowsin, and Eilishen Augustin are the reluctant members of the Trio from Faddpion legends, the ones prophesied to begin the Apocalypse of Sûva. Taking place in a universe where travel through a realm called the ether is possible, humankind has access to new worlds, which in turn joins them with new sentient species from across the universe. The process of ether travel is complex and ever-changing, but an ever-so certain fact lies in its depths: there are many dangers, both physical and mental. Physical dangers range from asphyxiation to ether beast attacks, while mental dangers range from anxiety to the imprisonment of one’s soul.
After an unlicensed ether trip went awry, the Trio finds themselves in the clutches of the Council of Curse, an organization that lives in a dreamscape like no other and feeds off the slowly-corrupted souls of the Cursed. Drayve, Allenastar, and Eilishen become Cursed Fallen. Cursed whose souls are likewise captured but still retain conscious control. As the Trio it is their duty to lead the Cursed Fallen, who have been trapped in Viper Prison, a stronghold built to contain these individuals, to freedom. But as children, and skeptical ones at that, are they truly cut out for the roles they have been ordained? Are they really the ones chosen by the Faddpion legends that will lead the Cursed to the beginning of the end?
