Book 1: Enhanced Murder
Blake and Jane’s relationship would be established. The first villain would be a serial killer who targets full, unenhanced humans. Experimenting and cutting them up before dumping them on the streets. The hunt for the killer exposes Jane and our readers to the lines Blake is willing to cross.
Book 2: True Demons Knock Twice
Blake’s health deteriorates as the voices get louder, and Valkin’s brain crystallization treatment is beginning to fail. Blake refuses all of Valkin’s recommendations to use a more drastic and invasive treatment, preferring to hold onto his pain and no implant policy.
Luckily for him, Jane calls him to meet with her at the station for a meeting with the Chief. This meeting turns out to be a clearance briefing, and Blake is informed about an elite cult of sorcerers and scientists who control Metro. The Chief is a member, as well as Dr. Fraukstine. This shocking news is followed by more of its kind as the Chief also informs them that Dr. Fraukstine isn’t dead, but being held in a maximum-security prison.
The Chief closes the meeting by giving Jane a new top-secret case file. There is another serial killer on the loose, and it is up to Blake and Jane to find and stop the culprit. Blake notices that the new serial killer has a lot of similarities with Dr. Fraukstine. He believes that these similarities aren’t mere coincidences and decides to interrogate the doctor. He is, however, barred from accessing the imprisoned doctor or any of her case files.
Blake, in turn, breaks into the prison with the help of Valkin and asks his questions, getting enough information to hunt down the killer and solve the case. The hunt leads to Blake gunning down yet another member of the cult and being brutally injured himself. Jane revokes Blake’s consultation license realizing that he is too much of a wild card to be trusted.
Book 3: Mad Money
Jane is going through a difficult phase at work as she has been tasked with taking down the criminal kingpin of metro city. The name of the kingpin is Volglor and his thirst for power had made him an enemy of the temple and by extension the Chief. He chief forces Jane to bring Blake onboard the case. She reluctantly agrees, hoping that Blake would be a better consultant and partner this time.
However, Blake proves to be even worse as he designs and carries out riskier and crazier plans that Jane has an impossible time keeping up with. Blake eventually goes to far as one of his plans ends up killing a clone. Jane eventually realizes that Blake actually planned for the clone to be killed by Volglor and it wasn’t an accident. This forces her to turn him over to the chief and the Metro City Police. Blake is arrested by his nemesis officer chase. And although he feels betrayed he feels a sense of pride towards what he believes he had turned Jane into
Book 4: Dark Genesis
Blake is hired as a consultant, and although his wife, Amber, isn’t thrilled by the idea, she supports his newfound passion. Blake meets his first partner, and he is immediately thrown in the middle of an intense unravelling case.
Blake’s partner is determined to shield him as much as possible from the evils of the crime world. However, when his partner is suddenly detained, Blake is forced to take action. This leads to a series of retaliatory attacks by the Black Dragon that eventually spells tragedy for Blake and all he holds dear – morphing him into a very different human with pain and sorrow as his only companions.
Book 5: Blake Vs Blake
Blake’s lawyer, Mike, got Blake out of jail, and Blake tries to go back to his life without crime-fighting. His semblance of peace and staying out of trouble is brought to an end when his clone suddenly comes back on the scene.
Blake is attacked by his clone, and he manages to escape the attack. However, the police are unaware that Blake’s clone is still alive and are therefore convinced that Blake killed Volglor.
