Overview: The Cricut Explore Air is a die-cutting machine. It works exactly in the same manner as a printer and can be used for printing an image or a design that is created on the computer.
Other than printing a design, the Cricut machine also cuts any shape and design one wants. It can cut paper, fabric, vinyl, craft foam, faux leather, sticker paper and much more. There is an accessory slot in the machine and a marker can be loaded there. The Cricut will then draw a specified pattern. It is also very good for getting a gorgeous look, similar to a handwriting if your handwriting is not that great.
The Explore series of the Cricut machines also allows access to a huge digital library of cartridges. As there are no physical cartridges, any text or shape can be used and send to the Cricut to be cut out. The designs can also be uploaded. Cricut is able to cut items up to 12’ wide with a small cutting blade inside the machine. When something has to be cut out, the material has to be loaded onto the sticky mat and the mat has to be put into the machine. The mat holds the material in place whereas the Cricut blade passes over the material and cuts it. When the job is done, the mat has to be unloaded from the machine, the project has to be removed off the mat and the job is done.
