Overview:Hiroyuki Morioka (born March 2, 1962, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese science fiction novelist.
In 1992, his first novel Yume no Ki ga Tsugeta nara ("If Only the Dream Trees Could Touch") appeared in Hayakawa Shobo (Tokyo)’s SF Magazine. His short story "Spice" won the Hayakawa Award in 1993.

#1 -Crest of the Stars 1: Princess of the Empire
Planet Martine is suddenly attacked! The alien invaders are known as the Abh. Jinto and Lafiel escape from Baron Febdash’s orbital palace only to fall into the Human Unification Army’s clutches. Thrust into the middle of an ugly battle for intergalactic supremacy, the lander noble and the Imperial princess must learn to work together if they want to survive.
#3 – Crest of the Stars 3: The Return to Strange Skies
Barely escaping the United Mankind, Lafiel and Jinto crash-land on Planet Clasbul, which is already under enemy occupation. With no means to rejoin the Imperial fleet, they must find a way to survive until rescued. However, the Abh princess–who seems so indomitable in space–is nothing more than a clueless girl when confronted with life on a land world. Now the tables have turned, and Jinto must use his experience to protect her.
