Confessions Of A Super-Fit Vegan: Or, ‘I ate the food of the Gods, loaded up on carbs, forgot to count calories, and built the body of my dreams. You can too!’ by Jeff Sekerak
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 1.1 MB
Overview: Sure I’d been a 100% plant-eater, a vegan for about 15 years. And yes, I’d always prided myself on keeping fit. So why did my body seem to be falling apart as I approached the age of 40?

Well, as I later discovered, it MIGHT have had something to do with all the processed, sugar-laden, REFINED carbohydrates that had become my standard fare. I ate them all: Pancakes, pastries, pasta – and that former favorite of mine, fried rice from fast-food vendors.

My body paid the price.

As I neared 40, I suffered a host of symptoms that made me feel like an old man – rather than the more vibrant, athletic youth to which I’d become accustomed. Joint pain. Body-fat in the wrong places. Trouble sleeping, most nights. Constipation. ‘Brain fog,’ and a general sense of lethargy. I suffered them all. Oh yes: And I developed a case of asthma that wouldn’t seem to go away – no matter what I tried.
