Complete Fiction by Albert Bernstein (ed. Jerry eBooks 2020)
Requirements: ePUB reader, 3.8Mb
Overview: Albert Bernstein, born on May 15, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois was an sf author who published under the pseudonyms Donald Bern, Albert Bernsen and Robert Ray. He graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in advertising; working in that field for two years before moving on.
Bernstein’s first published story was “The Man Who Knew All the Answers” in the August 1940 issue of Amazing Stories. His fiction was mostly light-hearted, but very well-written. Although “If Tomorrow Be Lost”, published in the June 1950 issue of Fantastic Adventures, strikes a much darker note: an sf writer finds a pencil that writes about events that come true, but won’t write about anything after 1950; the last thing written concerns the perfection of a new type of atom bomb.
Albert Bernstein died on May 17, 1996 in Chicago, Illinois.
