Gussie and her lover Charlie spend their lives together in great extremes, fishing, having passionate sex and – avenging the wrongs they think think done to others. The rural Devon scenery being an unlikely setting for such violence and high passions. Love and the erratic heart are the premise for this beautifully unfolding literary novel which slowly builds up to dramatic heights.
