Overview: Stacey Hamilton is desperate to find evidence which will clear her husband Charles of murder charges, for which he was convicted and sentence to death.
Convinced that Charles is innocent, Stacey seeks the assistance of her close friends and a shrewd private eye name James Pellagrino to prove that Charles has been framed, and that the evidence against her husband was carefully manipulated by the real murderer.
In the process of their investigation, Stacey and her supporters discover clues which lead to those she loves. Little by little, the case against Charles begins to unravel, including a clue which her pet lab Toby discovers.
