Overview: David Lee Summers is an author, editor and astronomer living in Southern New Mexico, which is tucked somewhere between the western and final frontiers. He is the author of five novels: The Solar Sea, The Pirates of Sufiro, Children of the Old Stars, Heirs of the New Earth, and Vampires of the Scarlet Order. His short fiction and poetry has appeared in such magazines as Realms of Fantasy, Aoife’s Kiss, The Fifth Di…, The Martian Wave, Star*Line and The Santa Clara Review. He edits the science fiction and fantasy magazine, Tales of the Talisman and is editor of the anthology Space Pirates. Over the years, David has also worked at numerous observatories in the U.S. including Kitt Peak.

The one man who can help has disappeared into Apache Country, hunting ghosts. A healer and a former sheriff lead a band into the heart of the invasion to determine what makes the Russian forces so unstoppable while a young inventor attempts to unleash the power of the lightning wolves.
#3 – The Brazen Shark
Pirate captain, inventor, and entrepreneur Onofre Cisneros sweeps his friends Fatemeh and Ramon Morales off to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Once there, a British agent makes Cisneros an offer he can’t refuse and the captain must travel to Japan. Wanting to see more of the world, Ramon and Fatemeh ask to accompany the captain only to find themselves embroiled in a plot by samurai who steal a Russian airship, hoping to overthrow the Japanese emperor.
