With the latest threat to his dungeon handled, Allen thought that he would have a few moments of peace as only such moments always seem to be when the next danger arrives. This time rather than the greed of humans, he finds himself facing a much more deadly threat, one that could care less about some pocket knives and spices. Outnumbered and lacking the resources to change that in the near future Allen must make a few hard decisions and plan for a war of attrition while defending.
Meanwhile Stan awakes to find out Ramona’s fate after their first mission ended in a bloody mess. Knowing that the future is sure to be full of the same, he is forced to start thinking of ways to survive the plans of the organization. Still, as little more than a grunt to them his options are limited, yet he has to try or he knows that he will eventually die fighting paranormals that he could care less about the fates of. No, the only fate he is worried about beyond his own and Ramona’s is that of his sister Madison.
