1. Moon Warrior – Jamie is a lonely artist, still hurt after his father left him at the beginning of his teenage years. The real world doesn’t make sense to him, and he sees school as a waste of time. He wishes the world could be filled with heroes.
Xander has just moved across the country, fleeing danger when his pack was killed, including his father. Now it’s just him and his mother left, and he feels guilty for not having done more to save them.
The school is filled with bullies, and one afternoon Jamie is attacked. Xander happens upon them and saves Jamie. A new friendship is born, and they both discuss the problem of the school bullies. Jamie is looking for a hero, and Xander is looking to make amends for his failures.
But Xander isn’t sure if he can trust anyone with his secret, and he finds that the bullies are more resourceful than he thinks.
2. Moon Hunter – Jamie and Xander think that the worst is behind them. After dealing with horrible bullies they’re free to think of the future. Jamie sees himself becoming an artist, but Xander doesn’t know what he’s going to become, or where he’s going to belong. He had prepared for life in a wolf pack, and despite being with Jamie, he still feels lost.
Things are made more complicated when a hunter hears of the tales of a wolf. The same hunter who destroyed Xander’s wolf pack. Jamie’s past comes to haunt him as well, and another wolf enters the picture. Marcus doesn’t have any use for human society. In his heart is war, and he wants to take the fight to the hunters instead of waiting to be slaughtered.
Jamie and Xander’s love will be put to the test as they ask themselves if a wolf and a human can really make it together. They’ll also see how much they have been defined by their past, and how capable they are of writing their own future.
3. The Hunter’s End – Now that Jamie’s father has returned he doesn’t know what’s going to happen. He just found out he’s pregnant with Xander’s child, but Xander hates his father for killing his pack. All Jamie wants is for them to be one family, but is that going to be possible?
Xander is struggling with his emotions. For so long he vowed revenge on the man who killed his father, but when faced with the opportunity to do so, it seemed wrong. Now he is going to be a father as well, but can he ever forgive Jamie’s father?
With a new wolf pack being led by Xander’s mother and the hunters still at large, the story is not over yet. The future is still to be determined, but can these lovers find a happy compromise, or will one of them have to sacrifice their world?
