As the door closed behind the three of us, I heard it lock and then threw a glance down the street. Horror filled my being as I spotted an armored government vehicle screeching around the corner headed in our direction.
A demonic government is controlling every facet of life, to the point of limiting the number of children in families to two. Any “extras” are being rounded up by the police and “eliminated”. Their only hope is to be rescued by undercover groups of men and women who are willing to give up everything for the cause. Brecken has grown up in this life—dedicated to providing homes for the unwanted children.
