Overview: James M. McCracken was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He spent his teenage years in a seminary boarding school. It was there that his love for writing stories began. After leaving the seminary, he spent the next 23 years working for a telecommunications company. Retiring early, he pursues his writing. He published the first book in a young reader series inspired by his years in the boarding school in 2001. After nearly 20 years, he has rebranded and re-released the series in 2020.
