Max feels estranged from life itself. During the typical morning drone of traffic, an EMP detonates above Britain, plunging the country into darkness. As confusion and carnage break out across London, Max finds himself in an increasingly hostile world, and survival certainly isn’t a guarantee.
Single mother Alynn is on a train when the EMP strikes, and failing electric tracks force the London Underground into a series of wrecks. As panic flares and foes come to fight, Alynn must reach safety with her rescue German shepherd, all whilst battling inner turmoil over her son who’s still at school.
Can Max survive in a London plagued with chaos? Can Alynn escape the dark caverns of the London Underground? Or will they both succumb to the deep and dark forces during the worst crisis Britain has ever seen?
