Overview: I am a four year veteran of the United States Army. I am also a combat veteran, who served as an advisor to the Afghan National Army during the Operation Enduring Freedom campaign. I have a Bachelors of Science in Psychology; and while serving I attended and graduated from the US Army Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, GA, the US Army Field Artillery Basic Officer Leadership Course in Fort Sill, OK, and the Sabalauski Air Assault School in Fort Campbell, KY. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Intelligence Studies with a concentration in Terrorism.
I never envisioned being a writer. I have been an avid reader my entire life, and this story was a hobby. However, it turned into the most effective therapy I have ever found. I have seen a marked improvement in my mental health since I began this work, and I hope to continue to improve as I write the remaining eight installments of the Champions saga, and I also hope that this series can help shed light on the invisible scars carried by American Veterans.
