Then they decide adult slaves are too dangerous and start killing anyone over 20 years old. With the Thali killing more and more of the vadagz, Gary knows they must do something. The question is what. What can they do? Escape? Where? How?
Then one of the Thali joins their cause, and they learn there is hope after all. If they survive the arena. If they survive the coming battles. If the Keeper doesn’t decide Gary is too dangerous and sentence him to death.
When his friends turn to him for leadership, will Gary have the courage to lead them? If so, where will they go? Too bad they can’t get back to Earth. Or can they?
3. Revolt – Gary leads the vadagz in revolt against their Thali captors, but moving over a thousand slaves, most of them children, through the dark streets to the launch yard is no easy task. Then he learns the Thali know he is planning to steal the Midnight Queen, a Selda class warship, and escape to Earth. Plans in ruins, Gary must figure out a new plan. And he must do it before dawn, or they all die.
