Movie Plot: Jairam (Navdeep) is a son of rich widow (Ayesha Jhulka), whose husband was killed by Pakistanis in the war. As usual she neglects her son and busy in earning money for him in the business. When young Jai challenges them, they stoop like a film villains and fracture Jai’s ribs and tear the ligaments of his right hand, which he uses for his boxing. Afterwards jai challenges him and defeats him in a boxing match. Blood is shown dripping from villain’s ear showing that jai killed him with his broken fist chanting ‘vande mataram’

Movie Plot: As a spacecraft departs a planet, a humanoid alien drinks an iridescent liquid; then dissolves. The remains of the alien cascade into a waterfall. In 2089, archaeologists Elizabeth Shaw and Charlie Holloway discover a star map in Scotland that matches others from several unconnected ancient cultures. They interpret this as an invitation from humanity’s forerunners, the “Engineers”. Peter Weyland, the elderly CEO of Weyland Corporation, funds an expedition to follow the map to the distant moon LV-223 aboard the scientific vessel Prometheus. The ship’s crew travels in stasis while the android David monitors their voyage. Arriving in 2093, Mission director Meredith Vickers informs them of their mission to find the Engineers, and not to make contact without her permission. The Prometheus lands on the barren, mountainous surface near a large artificial structure, which a team explores. Inside they find stone cylinders, a monolithic statue of a humanoid head, and the decapitated corpse of a large alien, thought to be an Engineer; Shaw recovers its head. The crew finds other bodies, leading them to surmise the species is extinct.

Movie Plot: Relangi Mavayya (Prakash Raj) is a gentleman from a small village Relangi and he believes in human values and relationships. Movie Plot: Vignettes from Mumbai’s daily life are pictured with postcard-style glimpses of Marine Drive, CST, Gateway of India and the ghettos. Mumbai deserves a better spin. The first story is about a son seeking revenge for the deaths of his parents. The terrace of an under-construction high-rise, offering an eagle’s eye view of Haji Ali, serves as builder Salman’s (Kay Kay Menon) favourite spot where he appears from time to time to reconcile that personal loss. His father (Jackie Shroff), an underworld don, and his mother, who cooked biryani in happier times, are apparently killed for no reason. This was intended to be a dramatic scene, one in which the grieving son is required to display emotional depth but it becomes, to borrow Naipaul’s term, a mimic scene. In another parallel track, Assistant Commissioner of Police Chautala (Manu Rishi Chadha) is transferred from Haryana to Mumbai. There are attempts to induce some laughter through an ostensible language barrier device. Chautala is the only character who seems to have some imagination and spring.
