Overview: Liniers (Ricardo Siri), born in Buenos Aires in November 15, 1973, is an Argentine cartoonist. In September 1999 he started publishing a weekly strip called Bonjour in No, a supplement of the newspaper Página/12. In June 2002, his weekly strip Macanudo began publication in the newspaper La Nación and steadily gained popularity around the world, appearing in US newspapers since 2018. His book Good Night, Planet won the Eisner award for Best Publication for Early Readers in 2018 and he also received the Inkpot award that same year. He currently lives and work in Vermont with his wife and daughter, where he is a member of the Center for Cartoon Studies.
