Overview: Testament is an American comic book written by Douglas Rushkoff with art and cover by Liam Sharp, first published in December 2005. It tells two stories, drawing comparison between a near future in which grad student Jake Stern and his conscientious objector friends fight a new RFID (Radio-frequency identification)-based universal draft, by attempting to access the collective unconscious through an experimental shared experience sensory deprivation tank, and a Biblical narrative based on Torah, various Jewish and Christian apocrypha and elements of other world mythologies.

Overview: Rush City is a six-issue comic book limited series published monthly by DC Comics from September of 2006 until 2007. The series is written by Chuck Dixon with illustrations by Timothy Green II colored by Jose Villarrubia. DC Comics produced a special Zero issue web-comic that is available on the DC Comics website, and was packaged with the August 2006 issue of the GamePro magazine. The title features Diego Zhao, an Asian American private investigator who goes by the street name of Rush. Although the series is a crime drama, it does however take place within the continuity of the greater DC Universe.

The miniseries which introduced a new hero (Rush) to the DC Universe, as well as introduce his car, the Pontiac Solstice GXP, to readers, is part of a product placement deal between DC and Pontiac. As the vice president of advertising and custom publishing for DC Comics told the Wall Street Journal, "The car will be as essential to the character as the Aston Martin was to James Bond."
