Requirements: 2.3 and up
Description:
Carista is a mobile application with which you can configure the way your car behaves, check its technical condition, and even service it yourself. Whether you want to unlock only the driver's door at the first click of the remote, or want all doors unlocked simultaneously, Carista can do that! Checking your vehicle’s health is a click away in a user-friendly manner, avoiding a trip to the service shop or at least being better informed when you go there. You can also service your car by yourself by resetting your oil service indicator or servicing your electronic parking brake. Just plug in your OBD2 adapter and launch the app. Customizations, detailed diagnostics, and service tools are just a few clicks away (see below).

Is it free?
Most of the cool stuff is paid (through an in-app purchase), but we do offer free standard OBD2 diagnostics. See below for pricing.
Hardware Requirement:
In order to use Carista, you need a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter – a separate piece of hardware that you plug into the vehicle's diagnostic port. You can use our official Carista OBD2 adapter or a generic ELM327 v1.4 Bluetooth adapter (just make sure it’s not fake/defective). See: http://www.caristaapp.com/hardware/
Diagnose (OBD2):
Carista can check your vehicle's health and report any faults stored in its computers. You can also clear any fault codes and reset your "check engine" light, as well as check if you're ready for emissions testing. This is a FREE feature.
Diagnose (Manufacturer-Specific):
Unlike regular OBD2 apps, Carista also gives you access to advanced manufacturer-specific diagnostics, including computers like ABS, airbag, navigation, etc. and gives you the ability to reset your airbag light, ABS light, etc. This is a PAID feature; supported vehicles only.
Customize:
Carista lets you change the way your car behaves: say you want your headlights to come on automatically when you start the engine; or you want the doors to lock when you start moving; or you want to change the type of beep that the reverse parking sensors make. Yes, Carista can do that (if your vehicle supports it, of course). It’s like the settings on your smartphone, but for your car. This is a PAID feature; supported vehicles only.
Service:
Carista gives you access to electronic service tools for your car. You can reset the "service due" indicators and service your electronic parking brake to replace your brake pads by yourself. This is a PAID feature; supported vehicles only.
Pricing:
An in-app purchase is required in order to use any of the paid features listed above. You have two options: a 1-week pass for $9.99 or an annual subscription for $39.99/year.
