Overview: Humans are not at the top of the food chain. While a brave few humans are ready to fight to regain their freedom from their alien conquerors, the human race’s hopes depend on a girl who doesn’t give a damn about their cause or freedom.
Khara, a tough-as-nails survivor, finds her place serving the alien invaders even as she struggles with revulsion of the aliens and loneliness after the loss of her family in the invasion.
