Overview: Can an alcoholic help a dying girl while he tracks a murderer?
The tobacco land kid is an ornery man in many ways: he curses, drinks heavily, likes women and has enjoyed fighting in bars; however, he has good points, most of all he keeps his word. he likes children. he’s charismatic, a woodsman, and a sharpshooter.
Physically, he is one in a million. his voice resembles a foghorn, and he’s tougher than a steel girder. with extra long arms, he has the body of a monkey.
As a trickster, the misdirection maneuver serves him well. other schemes give this guy more stunts than a chimpanzee can show on fifteen feet of tightrope.
To the point, can our alcoholic hero help a dying girl shoot a mature tom turkey while he pursues a killer? maybe, but it ‘ain’t gonna’ be easy. Why? they suffer a snowstorm, freezing cold, hot weather, a thunderstorm, a bad fall, a nut job with a stiletto, an altercation with two rednecks. at the same time, the media hounds them. high stake gambling enters the picture; furthermore, the girl has never fired a shotgun, and the gobblers are faster than a politician’s hand going into your pocket.
