She’s warned that while fairies have potent magic, they hate humans and would truss her up and feed her to the water nymphs before they’d allow an audience with their queen. Brittany must fight her way through a rainforest filled with hostile pixies and hobgoblins to get to the castle.
If Brittany finds that the elven queen is in league with the witch queen, her life will be over. But if she faces the witch queen alone, she is just as dead. What’s a teenage witch to do?
3. Rebel Rabble
When her aunt is taken hostage by the evil witch queen, a confidence-challenged teenage witch must overcome self-doubt and raise an army of witches, vampires, and fairies to overthrow the tyrant.
Brittany’s magical powers are both devastating and beyond her control. The witch queen, however, wants to harness Brittany’s growing powers by sending her away to be trained in the dark arts—and to force Brittany’s compliance, she imprisons Brittany’s aunt in a modern-day dungeon and threatens her life if Brittany doesn’t submit.
The dungeon is guarded by demons and ghouls. Brittany can’t leave her aunt in such an awful place. In hope of rescuing her, she cobbles together a ragtag army of witches, vampires, and fairies. But her band of rebels cannot be trusted—the humans hate the vampires, the vampires hate the fairies, and the fairies hate everyone. Brittany has no more faith in them than she does in herself.
If the rescue attempt fails, Brittany’s aunt will die and Brittany will be banished to who knows where. But if Brittany doesn’t try, her aunt will spend the rest of her days in the clutches of the evil queen. What’s a teenage witch to do?
