Overview: Hi. My name is Michael Tobin. I enjoy a quiet life on a lazy watercourse called the Grand River. I have what I consider to be an ideal existence right now. At least for my standards; which are quite modest. After four-years in the U.S. Navy as a radioman, and thirty-years as an aircraft maintenance technician (25 of which were at a usa regional airline) I have put down the torque wrench and picked up the keyboard. Last year when I started this novel, I was not yet aware of self-publishing. The story just grew from my conviction that humanity might occupy other worlds by developing intelligent machines that can artificially grow the human animal after reaching those destination worlds.

Android Lives Matter: Humanity has enjoyed a nurturing and beautiful planet throughout the long evolutionary journey that Mother Nature has gracefully allowed our species. However, as with most sentient life forms on other worlds, we too have succumbed too the greedier side of our nature and are quickly losing grace with our planets ability to support us with a viable biosphere. Luckily for us, we have progressed far enough along the technological path so that we actually have a chance for success if we choose to attempt migration to favorable worlds outside of our own solar system. Embark on a journey that tells a tale of one possible way for the human species to achieve freedom from our own Mother Nature, and travel to other worlds where her lovely twin sisters await our arrivals; so that we might have extra chances for long term survival. From finding enough raw materials in the asteroid belt for attempting such a journey, to the extreme technology and stubbornness of one man to see his dream of transplanting humans into the cosmos become a reality. However, he can’t do it alone; and through sheer good luck, good karma, or both, enough hard working and dedicated people (carbon based and metal) come to his cause and help get it off the ground, and on its way into the great void that exists between the stars.
Cosmic Lives Matter: Oberon Prime and Titania Alpha, are perfect android and human breeding grounds! Doctor Maxwell Sohn, of ‘Sohn, Space Industries’, made sure that favorable conditions existed during development. Extra-terrestrial life-forms, created a Montague of possibilities. Our universe, it seems, has a unique signature. One of many among others in our space-time continuum.
