The Asylum (Book 7)
They have a chance to leave, so why on earth would they go back? Matilda and Olga have had a glimpse of life inside the asylum. The suffering, the torture, the descent into madness … With Grandfather Jacks now dead at their hands, they have a chance to get as far away from the place as possible, but they have to go back. Not only is their friend Dianna still locked up in the dark building, but many other innocent women and children are entrapped inside the hellish institution. How can they walk away knowing those lives might never be spared? And Matilda has a deep wound on her thigh. Until she finds a way to beat the infection spreading through it, she can’t go anywhere. They also have to deal with the electricity being out. The tone that once called the creatures to the front of the asylum and held them there has been silenced. The area now belongs to the diseased.

Between Fury and Fear (Book 8)
To get to safety, William and his friends must walk a narrow path between Fury and Fear. With the Asylum behind them, the group head to their new friend Gracie’s community. In a world where giving someone your trust could mean death, they still haven’t decided if they should put their faith in this girl. The path to Gracie’s community passes through ruins that are used as the battleground for two warring cities. Their lives depend on not only avoiding Fury’s and Fear’s soldiers, but they will also have to evade the cannibalistic scavengers that make their home in the desolated landscape. And of course, the diseased. What does this hellish journey have in store for the group? Will they all make it to the other side alive? And if they do, what lies in wait for them in Gracie’s community?

Before The Dawn (Book 9)
William and the gang helped save Gracie from Grandfather Jacks and now she wants to return the favour by offering them a place to stay in her home. Dout; an underground complex with over two hundred residents. They survive in the shadows of two large and hostile communities. Their invisibility is what’s kept them safe for years. But while William and the others appreciate the offer of a place to stay, it hasn’t changed their minds. So close to the wall they can see it, they have to know what’s on the other side. The plan: Stay for a few days, get their strength up, and move on. If only it were that simple. While Gracie’s offer might have been genuine, not everyone is as welcoming as her. They came to Dout to rest. Chances are, they’re going to leave even more fatigued than when they arrived. If they leave at all.
