Overview: This is the book Leni Riefenstahl denied ever writing. Behind the Scenes of the National Party Convention Film (Hinter den Kulissen des Reichsparteitag-Films), a book of text plus numerous photographs, was published in March 1935 to coincide with the Berlin premiere of Riefenstahl’s Triumph of the Will. Riefenstahl, after 1945, distanced herself from the book, claiming she had never seen it until after publication.
