The legal system doesn’t care that I didn’t do it. The judge sentenced me to life imprisonment in the Solar Orbiting Array Omega. It’s a digital world… but it isn’t our world. Afterlife Online is a fantasy game that mimics reality so closely that I can’t tell the difference.
Giants, dragons, orcs, and undead fill this world. And like Earth, it isn’t peaceful. The wizards have revolted from the oppression of the Chaos Witches. Now, war ensues… And I’m right in the middle of it.
And… My murdered wife’s family has decreed that I will be reborn into Afterlife as a monster. They want me to spend eternity as an abomination, alone, miserable, and depressed with no one by my side.
That’s not going to happen.
I’m going to adapt and overcome and make this world… mine. Denied the ability to play a “good” race, I will take what I’m given and destroy anyone in my path.
No one starts off evil.
