In high school, I was the quarterback of the football team and everyone had expectations of me—including Orion. He’d drawn me in but I was confused. I had no clue who I was, only that I liked him more than I was supposed to and I hadn’t handled it well.
Back then, it was smarter to hide who I was—even from myself. But now I’m older and life has a way of making you want to go for what’s really important.
Orion was important to me then and he’s even more important now. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to show Orion that he can not only trust me again, he can take a chance on love.
