Overview: Atom Tan was a fanzine self-published by Philip Bond and Jamie Hewlett in 1987. It was created while both were still at college and features Hewlett’s first ever piece of published work, as well as the first Tank Girl’s illustrations.
Atom Tan ran for two issues and launched the careers of Bond, Hewlett and Alan C. Martin, later to be the breakout stars of Deadline magazine with Tank Girl leading the charge.
