But humanity wasn’t free from the nightmare. Slowly consuming our atmosphere, came the appearance of the red cloud, a parting gift from our genocidal adversaries. The cloud over time affected anyone who breathed it in, they developed a serious form of dementia which led to death, it also had the capability to reanimate the dead cellular tissue of individuals turning them into mindless, horrifically mutated creatures.
During this time, a man known only as the Emperor, gave the last remaining survivors of humanity hope, for he discovered an alien facility that had been buried for over three millennia. Inside this facility held technology and secrets beyond imagining, which gave rise to the birth of the last known stronghold of mankind Cytopia, and their banner, the United Cytopian Alliance. The Emperor declared this as the start of a new age, not only for science but for all of mankind, this new age was called the 2nd Renaissance of man.
