Unfortunately, while scouting the land, they meet a machete-wielding group of men who quickly make it clear that the outsiders are not welcome.
With her hopes dashed, Angelique can’t help but become discouraged and sad. She misses her home and her family and her passion for the hotel is rapidly dwindling. Hopeful that reading Theo’s memoir will cheer her up, she dives into the book, only to discover how different the unlikely couple really is.
Worried that they are too dissimilar and that things are moving too fast, Angelique decides she must push Theo away. She’s convinced herself that their differences are just too vast and that he needs a stronger woman. They would both be better off…

Finally back to her native land, Angelique is excited to show Theo around Cat Island and introduce him to her loved ones. Happy and excited, Angelique and Theo walk hand in hand through paradise to her new home.
However, her homecoming is not all positive. As the new couple spends some time exploring and getting to know one another better—as well as her family—Angelique begins to worry about her future. And, despite his good intentions, when Theo offers to support her financially, Angelique does not take it well. After all, she’s no charity case and can take care of herself.

Book #5 – Loving Him
In this fifth book and final installment of “Angelique’s Greek”, Angelique quickly learns that it is nearly impossible for her stay mad at Theo, the Greek millionaire who has stolen her heart and offered her the world. But, understanding that he only wants to help her, she is quick to inform him that she needs to do things on her own & for herself. She is just that kind of woman.
Theo and his money will never change that — nor should Theo want it to.
