#1 Over There
- When Angel is injured in the war, some men find him; believing he’s dead, they bring him to their camp. He wakes up and to their shock, he’s okay. They report this miraculous event to Colonel Geoffrey Wyndam-Pryce. He realises that this man is a vampire and heads to the camp to capture Angel. He ties Angel down to a chair near the window then pushes over the curtains and reveals the sun.
#2 Front Lines
- Angel manages to escape by diving into the nearest river, avoiding the bullets from the soldiers. A few hours later, when the sun is down, he rises again and finds himself on German land. He runs into a group of 5 men. The rest of their men were slaughtered by vampires. One of them had been sired but not risen yet, so Angel went to stop him. The men don’t understand and think he’s some crazy guy, but when the man rises as a vampire and kills one of them, they understand. Angel saves them from the vampire soldier and they head back to the camp where all the other soldiers were killed, only to find no corpses. Instead, they’re ambushed and taken prisoners by Crixus to a gigantic castle owned by Kakistos.
#3 Interlude
- Geoffrey gets assigned by the Watchers Council to stop Kakistos. Angel sneaks into the room of Margaret, a girl he saved before Geoffrey captured him. She betrays Angel to the soldiers and Geoffrey. They overpower Angel, but just as Geoffrey is about to stake him, Angel manages to force him back. Then Kakistos comes inside and kills everyone except Margaret, Geoffrey & Angel. Angel is taken prisoner at Kakistos’ castle.
#4 Monsters
- Angel must fight Kakistos in a final showdown.
Continuity
- Takes place during World War I (1914-1918).
