Tail Wagging Trouble
All is well in the sleepy town of East Pender until a dog seeks out café owner, Ellen Thatch, and leads her to a dead body. Now, Ellen is fully invested in finding the murderer.
With handsome police chief Andy, her precocious friend Kelly, and Scampy the dog by her side, Ellen is determined to find the killer before he or she goes free.
A Felonious Frame
Out on a morning run, Ellen Thatch notices a disturbance outside her café. When she learns that her employee is accused of stealing jewelry, she is not convinced that the accusations have any truth behind them, so she begins her own investigation.
Soon, everyone believes that the down-on-hi- luck employee might actually be guilty and are anxious to lock him up. Now, Ellen is in a race against time to prove his innocence. Scrambling for the truth may be the hardest thing she’s ever had to do.
A Twisted Fate
When a heat wave strikes, it leaves the small town of East Pender at a virtual standstill, but unfortunately, the crime rate didn’t get that message.
A young woman has been kidnapped and everyone fears that she won’t survive long in the extreme heat. With no leads to follow, Ellen is willing to try anything to rescue the young woman.
Taking Scampy, her trusty dog along for the adventure, Ellen is on a desperate hunt to save the girl before it’s too late and, hopefully, ease the rising tensions in town at the same time.
A Tasty Dose of Trouble
It’s the weekend of the annual Founding Festival and the whole town has turned out to celebrate. But what looks like innocent fun soon turns into a police investigation, since someone has poisoned the pies for the pie-tasting competition. Now, Ellen feels compelled to find the culprit, but when the police make an arrest, she can’t help but wonder if they got the wrong man.
As Ellen’s suspicions rise, she fears that the real culprit is too close for comfort and knows that she must gather enough evidence to nab them before they strike again.
Can Ellen prove her suspicions right before it’s too late?
