Overview: After Mr. Bennet had died, Mr. Collins took possession of Longbourn. His intention was to marry Elizabeth but as she had refused him to the complete distress of her mother, she left England and took over the position of a governess.
Eight months later, she meets Mr. Darcy on a trip back home, who also travels home from Ireland.
The gentleman doesn’t impress Elizabeth much on their first meeting; she considers him a very arrogant and disagreeable man, and he doesn’t think a simply governess is worth his concern. Unfortunately, a bad storm throws them together and alone.
Now Elizabeth’s life depends on Mr. Darcy who feels responsible for bringing her safely back home…
