1. Moving Day
The author of the Princess Diaries series makes her first foray into books for midde-grade readers, with this first installment of a new series starring nine-year-old Allie Finkle, who is trying to adjust to a new town, a new school, and a new room. The book jacket unfolds into an oversized poster. Consumable.

2. The New Girl
There’s a whole new set of rules to learn when you’re the new girl!
When you are starting at a brand-new school, you have to wear something good. Allie Finkle’s starting her first day of school at Pine Heights Elementary! Plus, she’s getting a new kitten, the first pick of show cat Lady Serena Archibald’s litter! But being the New Girl is turning out to be scary, too, especially since one of the girls in Allie’s new class — Rosemary — doesn’t like her. In fact, Rosemary says she’s going to beat Allie up after school.

3. Best Friends and Drama Queens
Pine Heights Elementary School has a new student, and nobody is happier than Allie Finkle. In her mind, the arrival of Cheyenne from Canada means that she will no longer be the fourth-grade class dolt. That bright prospect fades, however, when Cheyenne suddenly becomes the dismissive standard setter for Allie’s closest friend. What is a girl to do? A solid series about real-world problems.

4. Stage Fright
Allie Finkle is back – with a whole new set of rules!
Mrs. Hunter’s fourth grade class is putting on a play! But Allie’s theatrical hopes are crushed when she doesn’t get cast as the princess — the part that she wanted! Instead, Allie is cast as the evil queen. But as opening night approaches, Allie learns it’s not the size of the part, it’s the size of the heart that really matters.

5. Glitter Girls and the Great Fake-Out
Allie is mega excited when Erica’s big sister Missy enters the regional Twirltacular baton competition and Erica is allowed to bring all her best friends to watch. But Allie is also invited to Brittany Hauser?s birthday party on the same day and will be driven in a stetch limo to the famous Glitterati store, followed by a night in a five-star hotel. Allie really wants to see Missy perform and she thinks Brittany and her friends are snobby, but riding in a limo is a lifelong dream! She decides a little white lie is the best way to keep everyone happy until everything goes spectacularly wrong and Allie realises she’s made a big mistake. Allie has to learn the hard way that bending the rules is a dangerous game…

6. Blast From the Past
Allie’s excited about her class field trip. Sure, it’s to a historic one-room schoolhouse, built back before there was the Internet or even cell phones, and Allie’s teacher is encouraging everyone to dress up in old timey costumes, which some of Allie’s friends are actually doing. GAH! But at least she gets to ride on a bus, which she’s never gets to do, living so close to school that she actually has to walk there every day!
But then Mrs. Hunter announces that every student in Room 209 has been assigned a "buddy" for the day–from Allie’s old 4th grade class at Walnut Knolls Elementary School, with whom Pine Heights Elementary is pairing up for the trip. And Allie’s buddy just happens to be her ex-best friend Mary Kay, who betrayed Allie right before she moved! Allie is going to have to spend a whole day sharing an old-timey desk with a big crybaby!
