The Skin-Wearers, a cannibal tribe who live on the island with them, are a constant menace. Worst of all are the Skimmers, who attack from their floating village on the sea, clinging to the last vestiges of technology—and using it to inflict death.
Now known as the Rock-Slingers, the Idyllicans must fight to survive against those who would see them wiped out. But more importantly, they must find a new home. Sebastian, his girlfriend Egret, and his rebellious older brother Thomas must work together to save their people, and escape the island.
